Facing challenges in every day life is a reality. Do we enjoy challenges? Are they always fun? No, we don't always enjoy the challenges life brings nor are they always fun. However, we must come to the place in our lives where we decide how we are going to face the day. Consciously or unconsciously we choose what attitude to start the day with and consciously or unconsciously we also choose what attitude we will keep throughout the day.

From childhood we have developed attitudes and ways which are expressed through our every day behavior. Some of these behavior patterns we were taught and others we caught. Often we consider those behaviors to simply express who we are. This not so. We can develop our thinking in such a way that old ways of mopping, complaining, arguing, and quitting in the midst of life's challenges can be replaced with resourcefulness, positive speaking, getting along with others and persevering.
