As Harshal Bhogale said that this series is a match between Australia's youthful team versus India's aging batsmen.
The whole world knows youth always have an upper hand in sports. Just harping on 'experience experience' all the time is trying to justify the presence in the team of oldies like Tendulkar, Dravid Laxman, Sehwag, Bhajji etc (Especially Tendulkar who plays only for his records).

My views is that we should temporarily not play cricket and let the cricketers complete rest for a full year. No other tournaments for them. In the meanwhile, if you come across some other players showing promise in domestic tournaments, take them under BCCI's wing and expose them to playing conditions in other countries and make them tougher enough to face the other countries.
The present crop of cricketers have other things in mind but cricket.

You are right.. Age factor is very important, because cricket is based on quick reflex action. and age affects reflex action.
