Yes safarchand does sound a bit funny.But perhaps all languages are like that.The Marathis may be finding Hindi words funny.So let us just respect all languages.And Jyoti ba Phule is the name of a person , perhaps a saint.When I was at Nagpur I also saw this name for a market or a bus stand there.
