Q.

Indian Society by & large remains largely conservative even today. Der r so many households in which boys&girls r taught not 2 mingle.Dey r always taught to always remain separate&consciously keep away from one another. During the Navratri, this kind of restriction is quickly transgressed. Its almost like a break-out syndrome. Most parents seem to forget dat its quite natural for a growing boy to show an interest in girls and vice versa and have a GF/BF.I suppose if you try & fight d course of a river, the dam will burst sum day.D rite attitude will mke d diffrnce 2 d manner.Isnt it?Ur views pl?

The parents must understand that they have also crossed this age.....so they must understand those feelings........hey think from the parents' point of view also-----they may not have had the oppurtunity to talk with someone of other sex(obviously of their age).....or they must be feeling it is unnecessary

It would be advisable for the parents to move along with the teenaged children like friends and advise properly. it is the upbringing that makes the difference and not the controls.
