Do you think that former Prime Minister Sh. V.P Singh brought about social-economic & educational improvement to the lives of the backward classes after implementing "Mandal Commission Report"?

Well, Mandal commission was meant to uplift the backward caste. But I saw something else in reality. All the backward class people who KNEW about Mandal commission, they only got the advantage. Like Mr. X who is a backward caste person has 5 members in his family, then he made sure that all 5 members got admission into colleges through Mandal commission. But rest all others, who are POOR+Backward caste, never got a chance to take advantage of Mandal commission. What should have happened is that each person from different family should have got a chance to exercise their right and got good education to support their family.

It depends on how one perceives improvement .Yes it has brought improvement in lives of some. But the discrimination against those who really need the help simply speaks about our. hypocrisy
