2.

Hindi is derived from Sanskrit language, the mother of all N Indian languages. Previously Hindi is a mixture of Urdu language and Indian language and is widely spoken in N India! To create a National language of India officially to be used along with English, Hindi is developed from Sanskrit removing Urdu residue. But it is not accepted in the North Eastern States and South Indian States as their languages do not have any resemblance with Hindi! So, two official languages are used for administrative purposes in India now!
