Initially, I will be a bit confused but after analysing the situation, I will come to terms to the fact that my friend has the right to disagree with me on any matter and he is also entitled to go altogether in a different way, if he chooses if he finds that my view point is not right as per his thinking.
We cannot expect our friends to agree with us all the time.

I respect the other's freedom to disagree with me.
To me friendship always contains love, I dont hold loveless friendships.
Love implies freedom. Ill feelings, grudge etc is related to EGO not love.

Those who are considered as FRIEND will also take initiative to convince me to agree to their point. There on I think friend's project as one TEAM and healthy debate do help friendship to sail smoothly.

Never as had been in such situations , we always differ in many things but still I respect my friends view, they have their own views and me too , we cant have similar choice , just I might ask why and how and I will be very frank with them but will never have bad feeling as there are many other things to bother ;-)
BTW I always like to learn from them so that is why I ask them how and why and so on

I basically hail from a well-cultured family with well-nurtured qualities since my childhood days. I would never hold ill-feelings or grudge against anyone, who disagrees with my points of views sometimes. There is no hard and fast rules that whatever you bulldoze on others must be taken for granted. Resolving a conflict should not be seen as a contest to see who won or who was right or wrong. Even after taking steps to resolve a conflict, you might not still be able to agree. If the person you are in this conflict with is an important person to you and her relationship with you is one you want to keep, it is okay to agree to disagree on this issue and end it amicably, Anu :-)

No, I forgive easily. Life is too short to hold grudges.
