Which is a better SUV in terms of off road operation, VW Touareg or Volvo XC 90?

Both of the SUVs have their own pros and cons but their priced tag isnt much competitive compared to performance. If you look for the killer off road instinct you try driving Land Cruiser Prado. Though its a bit thirsty machine but when it comes to performance its pours like none other has till date.

Volvo XC90 is strictly on-road car. VW Touareg is capable of going off-road as it has optional locking differential, low-range gearing and optional height-adjustable air suspension.
