It aint a war to be captulated as a world war. For now it is just a skimirsh to push Mr Gaddafi out of office. As for the concept of OIL war well that is economically deceiving and no one would want the same. Maybe Mr Gaddafi needs to pack his bags and head to Saudi Arabia. And yup on his way out he needs to yell loud and clear to his neighbours "WHOES NEXT".

Any ruler trying to shoot down his own citizens through his own army is a ruthless inhuman killer and deserves to be ousted . US and UK and UN involvement to save human lives being annihilated by their own ruler is to be appreciated . Soviet is trying very hard to show that they are back to the same super power status as before . But US , UK and soviets are fully aware that Libya is not worth a third world war so there is no chance of any third world war situation . Whenever there is any disturbances in any of oil producing country , the commodity brokers of futures and options play havoc in crude prices . Arab nations deny that they are cause for price escalation and they accuse middlemen in commodity trading is the cause of it . Unfortunately none of the countries are prohibiting in commodity speculations . In fact it is alleged that this is also one reason why the prices of all commodities prices are increasing . The gold prices are of different ball game and has nothing to do wi

I double dare the NATO to attack North Korea.....THAT Will cause WW3. I don't think Libya will. Thy can't do any damag to NATO countries par se. ALl their WMD's are locked up somewhere in Virginia. WW3 will happen when NATO starts getting too arrogant and tries this stuff on North Korea or China - and I can betcha they will!

No dear ! There is no such fear of a 3rd world war & that too for a cause of an oil country in mess.World has seen much more disastrous unrest & widespred blood shed earlier but, nothing short of a world war did occure.I never say that itz an ordinary issue to be given less concentration. But the fact is that the super five nations, those which controll the small developing but warring nations, have much before realised that if ever a third world war occurs then it may spell the end of the entire world. Most of the developing nations of third world have accumulated so much WMDs and nuclear/chemical weapons that this small world can be destroyed several times.Thatz why possession of this weapons are also a deterrant in thinking of lodging another world war.So this unrest of the gulf country concerned also will pass away like a temporary tsunami.Dont be panic & be cool.

America is NOT interested to conduct any operation in Libya!
Britain has started cutting flow of funds to defence for obvious reasons.
Russia, Germany, Italy, China & our own India is against any move in Libya.
Since World War II, the world democratic is at its weakest stage.
The only interest I find is France wants to fight it.... Why, because
Nicolas Sarkozy wants to avoid an electoral humiliation...,,
Rest assured no serious war will erupt- they will destroy LIBYA to a serious extent.
Gadhafi is behaving foolishly-- he should have taken his people into confidence
and stepped down to save LIBYA from destruction...

Muammar Qaddafi is an autocrat who has reaped the benefits of his autocratic rule over the oil rich country over the past several decades.
He's not going to let go easily just because the citizens have woken up to continuous exploitation with no benefit filtering down to them.
But the world knows that this man could go to any length even a nuclear explosion to retain his control. So the provocation as such is going to be restrained.
Yes...there will be continued turbulence in Oil prices...till he gets full control back again...even at the cost of a massacre...going to any amount of blood shedding...and USA has already burnt its fingers...so they will be more cautious this time.

I dont thgink this can happen.. All his allies are western countries, and they have a greater stake in Libya than Russia or China..Though Gaddafi is trying to harness the unrest, time is against him. Age is against him and half of the army is against him.. Whatever he tries to do is going to harm his own interests..He has ruled for more than 30 years and as he was a tyrant, he has irked many.. He can command for some more time, no doubt, but the fight for freedom ( from his rule ) has begun. He will run away one fine morning., to save his life..In such situation where is the chance for the third world war? Arabs wont unite and come for his rescue because their own oil fields could be destroyed. They will pressurize Gaddafi to leave.,, and the civil war type bloodshed will stop as soon as he leaves..My readings suggest only one month for him .
