Will you make serious attempt to learn the local language if you are on a transferable job? If so why?

Well nothing like trasnfer or anything professional i hv ever moved to any other language places to learn the language of that land....but being hr in my home city also i learned few languages out of intrest and curiosity........:-))

May not be for the sake of survival in that part of the world, with that language, but as in personal interest, i may want to learn the language. Otherwise, atleast in India ,we can get away with Hindi and English commonly used and understood by one and all.

There is no way to go ....the lang. is Arabic. ( spoken arabic differs )
