There are many in various sports but in indian scenario sachin tendulkar in cricket he is holding such an excellant records no one can beat him and linder pace and bhupati in tennis.

In the present era: Tennis: Feddrer, Swimming: Phelp, F1: Schumecher, Golf: Tiger Woods, Cricket: Dravid (as for as mine concern). But most dominating in their sports was Sergi Bubka (Pole vault) and Bolt (Running race)
