"Will the next Army chief be appointed by quotas?"
The quota system and reservation based on religon and women in Army were already initiated by the Govt. which was thrashed by the ARMY.. Do you think, it is a on going process by the Govt to bring a constant threat of insecurity to the Country by way of Wars by neighbours by weakening the ARMY?

If politicians have their way, even a babu or a minister may be appointed the army chief.

I seriously doubt that the quota will be introduced in armed forces. if at all it is done, it will finish the morale of our forces that would be a very big blow to this institution of armed forces
