If past is a guide , it is unlikely that the son will play consistently for India. Manjarekar and Gavaskar sons got in but could not stay .It is tough to emulate a greatly accomplished father . On the other hand son of a mediocre cricketer father stands a better chance to succeed . Yuv Raj Singh is one example .
