Considering the condition of Indian roads and traffic one needs a real tough monster to drive out of the messy town lanes and grueling country roads and highways. Having driven Logan its a fair choice to go for. Mahindras Logan provides bigger space at small price. The interior of the car is excellently designed. Apart from decade old classy box cut design the engine and transmission are best suited for Indian roads. It is complete blend of super space comfortable riding and fuel efficiency. The diesel version is the best choice to go for.

For national highways, especially those under golden quadrilateral, any car would be good. However, for internal city roads, it depends on the condition and surfacing of the roads. However, maruti alto is preferable for mileage, santro is slightly less fuel efficient, but almost equal, with a little more comfort, tata indica is more spacious but costlier too. Sedans would give very low efficiency if the condtion of road is not good,.
