If the BJP settles with Sushma Swaraj as PM candidate especially due to pressure imparted on it JD (U) from the NDA, then they would be settling for the less popular choice because Modi has built an image and nationwide image over the years, this move may turn counter-productive also because the pro-Modi camp will not easily accept defeat and if the BJP is seen as weakining even before it comes to power then some votes may swing against them also. The perception of people of the country especially the urban middle class is that today India needs a strong leader and communal or not Modi has emerged as one. The BJP should not ignore the sentiments of the urban middle class which forms about eleven percent of the electorate. She is capable, aggressive and decisive leader no doubt, but we always opt for better one. What she lacks compared to Modi is, Modi takes bull by horn and is also good strategist.

She is good at speaking and giving replies.

She can only be an opposition leader, not the Prime Minister.
