Yes. Regional political parties have indeed become a force to reckon with and their importance has gone up so much that no national parties hereafter will be able to form government at the centre without the help of regional parties.

May be yes with AIDMK &DMK, AD & Shivasena, but not sure about the fate of TMC, SP and BSP.
JD(S) would be dumped shorly and JD(U) would float more or less like a regional part.

That has been since last 15-20 years

Now also SP & BJP plus RJD is sailing the ship of the congress Govt

Have U forgotten that Vajpayee Govt had to go beacuse jaylalitha had pulled rug ??
