Indian electorate is very secretive. They are known to spring surprises when one least expects it. More than Rahul himself, somehow I get the sense that it is the media which is projecting that it is a life or death situation for Rahul. Due to increased level of coverage of activities, there is also a sense that congress might do better that others. This perception may or may not be true.

Only time will tell whether all his efforts bear fruits to congress or not. I would not hazard a guess as too many players are involved. My only prayers is, whichever party it is, let them get majority, without having to go for coalition, where horse trading would become rampant.

His electioneering might fetch few more seats for the Congress Party as he is one of the star campaigners of the party and the electorate likes him to see him as their young hope.

He has no maturity, no administrative experience, no special quality to captivate the voters, as Anna Hazare rightly said he would need to stay in rural areas for many years to share their difficulties and one-day showcasing may not be adequate to become Hero or PM.

Infact I have no practical idea about UP election other than sharing news from the medias. I feel while BJP is supposed to going behind, Congress may come up despite lot of scams. Thanks.
