Q.

BJP got more votes because Nitish Kumar strongly rejected the likes of Narendra Modi and LK Advani. Otherwise he and BJP would have got far lesser votes and the main gainers would have been Lalu, Paswan and Congress.
Don't you think this is the fact?

ITs just a win for NITISH .. & loss for all others .. the worst victim is NOT LALU .. ITS BJP & in Particular MODI & ADVANI .. NITISH's BIG win without the campaigining by those gentlemen , has put them in a spot ..

No I don't think so. The statistics are not available to establish to what extent BJP got more votes. The secret of BJPs success was that they rode the piggy back of Nitish Kumar and JDU so well without caring for the prestige and esteem of their poster-man Narendra Moi and their prime leader L.K Advani, whith whom JDU and Nitish Kumar denied to share dais or campaigning. The compromises were clear. JDU joined hand with 'communal' party minus their two leaders. This chief gimmick found favour with Biharis. Secondly, the election in all constituencies were more than four cornered contests. If there was an pre-election understanding between Laloo- Paswan and Congress I don't think the results would have been such landslide. Now Nitish Kumar will get some claps for his "good governance" We need to digest it. To their credit, the scams and non-performance of UPA -II and the crown prince deposited more votes.
