Yes, the average citizen of our country only watches when India is playing so the television ratings for the semis & the finals would go down to quite an extent due to the major fan following of a large Indian population which is glued to the television whenever Indian match is on!!

I think so.At least, I have lost all interest in the WC matches.Almost, all Indian cricket lovers want to see their heros in action n win matches against all their opponents.Without them WC cricket would be meaningless for them.Their elevation to at least the semifinal stage would have given some sort of consolation.But that expectation also has been betrayed.
