Yes, it will make the farmers poorer & Retail kiryana shops with other small scale retailers to shut shop as they would be victims of the price wars emerging out of it!!

If you are aware of the days when India was running only Ambassador and Fiat cars. Government was not allowing any other new car manufacturers fearing damage to Indian car makers. One was to wait fro 3 or 4 years to get a new car of Ambassador model or Fiat. Just see today, you have hundreds of varieties and can have a new car on the same day. When somebody more competitive comes, our people will become better competeters otherwise they are become lazy and customer has to satisfy with what they provide.

Yes it surely will , because it will lead to these multinationals who come here to maximise profits, thereby may even import things from cheap economies, like china, korea, etc., and our products may remain in the hands of the producers
