I feel that they will not project him. However, if the Congress gets comfortable majority, they will try to make him the next PM.

Difficult to say. He himself seems to be swaying between ambition and fear.
Set back to his formula in Bihar exposed his maturity and debacle in state after state elections too has hit his confidence level. Moreover he is manage the games by veterans from his own party against him, though all of them sound to support his candidature.

Congress is caught in a big dilemma. If the who;e army of their political machinery have to be mobilized , Rahul's name is necessary, But, inside they know very well, Raahul Gandhi as PM may spell dang.er for the party because of his fresh and youthfulness , Once he starts taking independent decisions, that may upset the whole gamut of political planning of the Party. So, they need experienced and proven person for the job. So, Rahul's name may float but may not ultimately materialize
