In any country, the government should not play with the sentiments of its people. India is a country where Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs and Christians are living with reasonable mutual co operation and understanding. Although there are periods of disturbance and mutual distrust between communities in some parts of the country, these are limited to very few sections of the communities. Majority of the people want peace and harmonious life. This is the main reason for the failure of terrorists to ignite passions between various communities particularly Hindus, Muslims and Christians in spite of their nefarious activities. India is secular as understood by the whole world. But this secularism infact a false secularism as widely believed suffers serious allegations that Hindu community is greatly persecuted and discriminated in all walks of life in India.
