After SP won UP this year they started campaigning and airing slogans like 'UP to jeet liya, ab dilli ki baari hai'. Mulayam want to become the PM and that is clear. So he took a u-turn and together with TMC declared presidential candidate. It seems like TMC and SP is a new alliance and they are eyeing to become a new opposition and so both distance themselves from Congress at times. However it is unclear but looks like so.
