Why this is so that man can keep as many wives but woman can keep only one husband !!!!why??

Children of a man with many wives can reveal the name of their father identically. But children of a women with multi-husbands have to name their fathers differently...Perhaps, this could be the one of many reasons behind such practices...!

A man can make many women pregnant during the same time. A woman cannot conceive from many men at the same time.

Bcoz generally all societies r male dominated. There is no problem if a man or woman keep more than one sex partner at a time. In fact it shud b so. Yes, there r a very few societies where a woman without multiple sex partners r osctracised.

I hv only one wife, but Elizabeth tylor got marred 8 times and 7 husband :P
As per Hindu law in India, either man or woman can hv only one wife or husband at any point of time but can get married any no. of times after divorce.
