DR T M Thomas Isaac is Present Finance Minister of Kerala , He Born near Kodungalloor on 26th September 1952. Started Political activities as a student. Was an active leader of SFI. He is Professor at the Centre for Development Studies, Thiruvananthapuram. Was State Planning Board Member from 1996 to 2001. Was elected to KLA from Mararikkulam in 2001. Got re-elected in 2006.
Has published many articles on Economics, Planning and Politics in leading Regional, National and International periodicals. Presented Lectures and Papers in National and International Conferences and Seminars. (2000).
Published many books in Malayalam and English on economy, decentralization and politics. Now a member of CPI(M) stste committee and state secretariat.
