The case of Ajmal Kasab evoked strong sentiments from the people of India, especially those staying in Mumbai who were victims of the unique style of attack carried out by Kasab and nine associates at the behest of LeT and some military officers of ISI. It was unique not just for its style but for the fact that attack on the innocent citizens because it lasted for three days with continuous coverage by the media and these terrorists continued to hold at bay important places like the Taj Hotel, Oberoi Hotel and the building where the Israeli's stayed. And we continuously watched this whole spectacle with helplessness, dismay and horror as these terrorists continued to hold at ransom these places and the more time it lasted the more damage they did. The incident evoked strong emotions by Indians and yes even though Kasab's case was decided as the fastest to hang in India still people felt 4 yrs was pretty long time to punish the guilty. Otherwise human rights group who always supports only murderers , Jihadis, Rapists, thugs etc., would have created havoc, what govt did is correct
