Why such an hullabaloo on the execution of a dreaded terrorist, who conspired to be the mastermind to attack the Sanctum Sanctorum of Indian Democracy aimed at killing the PM, HM and blasting it off, which brought the two nations at the brink of a bloody war with Operation Parakram costing the invaluable lives of our thousands of soldiers. Such an act, beyond an inkling of doubt, amounts to the Rarest of Rare category of crime. The problem with our democracy is, we only function under pressure. Execution of Afzal Guru also took place under pressure. Not executing death sentence in other cases also under pressure. If rules are made applicable uniformly, there would be less hullabaloo. Unfortunately not.
