Why some people like Ghost stories?

When the children are young, some elders tell them stories on ghosts. This creates impressions on the minds of children and even when they are grown up men and women, they tend to like such stories. This is the main reason for people liking ghost stories.

I am one of them , I like reading ghosts stories, watching ghost movies , even asking mom to tell me some real ghost stories before sleeping . dont know but I like that and i want know more about them

Beause they like such type of ghost stories in this type of stories there is suspense and they r different from other stories.
