Why some oldies have habit of preaching all the time ?

Oldies are goldies and youngers are diamonds but we always need a gold ring to fix the diamond ........they yell us

When you were small, you kept asking me to read you the same story, evening after evening, until you fell asleep. And I did it happily !
Each generation imagines itself to be more intelligent that the one that went before it, and wiser than the one that comes after it.
A self-important college freshman walking along the beach took it upon himself to explain to a senior citizen resting on the steps why it was impossible for the older generation to understand his generation. You grew up in a different world, actually an almost primitive one and advising us often about do's and dont's ...the student said loud enough for others to hear
The people of today grew up with television, jet planes, space travel, men walking on the moon. We have nuclear energy, ships and cell phones, ...more

Because oldies have been through a lot and have lots of knowledge they would like to share with young ones it can be helpful to use. dont take it for granted
