Why retd people go for post office MIS even MIS offered by bank at higher interest

Earlier MIS used to give high returns compared to bank interest rate so people used to flock for MIS added advantage is at the time of maturity initial deposit amount will be returned with 10% incentive- that was the main reason why rtd people used to park their money in MIS but now bnak interest rates are higher then p.o. interest rates so slowly people are coming back to banks

I am a retired person.But I hardly go to the PO. It is a kind of mindset with some people who feel comfortable with the PO.Besides,a fraction of retired people make the use of PO,not majority.

Because they have trust on Post Offices than banks.. it is easy process as well... i also preferred post office.
