Do names like Benares Hindu University, Aligarh Muslim University, Christian Medical College and other such names with tags of religions fit in the secular fabric of our nation?

This is not fair in a secular democracy.But govt wants to retain this idea for vote bank.No education institutions should be run by any religion or caste.In the broader sense,Govt wants to please the religious minded people of India.

Before there was nothing connected with religion but as of now b'coz of the Govt's double game plan they over stretched the secular credentials of India and created everything in the name of religion. . .

No doubt they should not be allowed to function in the name of religion. but vote bank politics in our nation will not ban caste or religion. because no party will survive without these two.
