Q.

Narendra Kumar, a 2009 batch IPS officer (inset) was crushed to death when he tried to stop a tractor carrying illegally quarried stones in Madhya Pradesh's Morena district. his wife is an Indian Administrative Service officer. She is also posted in Madhya Pradesh (Gwalior) but is on maternity leave currently. Now think of the promise of good governance as pronounced by the political parties.

Illegal mining is going on in most of the states with the blessings and involvement of powerful politicians. Politicians make promises only to be broken as the first available opportunity. People in power are involved in most of the wrong doings and this is tip of the iceberg - a clear example of what is going on behind the curtains and when upright officers are trying to enforce the rules and preventing wrong doing, they meet with such fate.
I am very sad that a young IPS officer was crushed to death while on duty. Left to me, I would not stand before the tractor but would call for reinforcements. It hurts specially because his young wife is IAS officer and is on maternity leave which shows that either she is going to give birth to a child or is caring for new born - the new born could not even see his/her father. Very sad indeed. All politicians are birds of the same feather.

Unless exemplary punishment are given, it can not be stopped. No doubt the political parties might have played a part. This has come to light as he was an IPS. Many incidents do not come to the limelight and the goons go on working and fills the pocket of the politicians and other administrative personnel's so that they are remain freed.

All politicians irrespective of parties support mafias to receive donations to meet election expenses. They do not bother for the life of any employ but r very particular about their own life n the life of their family members. An inquiry commission will be set up.The report will be submited after 10 yers .The same will gather dust in the secretariate self. This has been happening n will continue to happen unless the system is changed. The poor tractor driver who crushed the IPS officer for some money n a bottle of liquor will be penalised. The real force behind this crime (the mining mafias) will continue to move with the politicians. Most unfortunate.Dear friend, this is India n we r Indians fools.

This is very sad indeed. the political bosses must take responsibility and bring the goons to book. we are to be blamed as we all read the news , spread hate here and there against the goon , talk big for a day or two and go about our daily chores.
when we all rise up and make a constructive effort , until then m no politician or bureaucrat will be scared.

Illegal mining and land grabbing are two main hut industries in MP and almost all politician including BJP CONG and others are equally involved. Almost all MLAs of MP Assly or there intimate relative/friends are actively involved in illegal mining. However death of young IPS Narendra Kumar is very sad.
