In India, finger millet which is locally called ragi is mostly grown and consumed in Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh,Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra & Goa being their staple food as its grown there. In other parts of India its not consumed so much which is mainly due to the dietary habits!!
