Why potholes reoccur again & again on Mumbai roads . . . . r there anyother reasons, than the regular ones what we read in the news ?

I have travelled by road extensively in Goa, coastal Karnataka, Kerala and coastal Maharashtra. In spite of the best material used, due to very heavy rain, roads get even washed out or there are potholes in the roads in this region.

Road construction is designed for creation of potholes so as to facilitate double bill for the single contract.

That kind of a situation prevails everywhere, because of substandard material used during the formation of roads...!

Low quality material used in construction of road, and this along with poor drainage facilities along with the roads makes the situation worse.
