To make fame of himself. Many people will say good about them. That is just to get pleasure and get his name featured around the world.

To get recognition from the world.. ( or from someone )
But this is not automatic.. it mostly has a story behind it... someone taunts the person as a 'useless bugger' or something.. Who will not get spirited if his girlfriend calls him a " kayar" ? Something triggers the person and he goes to conquer the world.. He wants to prove something... and get recognition.. Not only from the person... but from the world.
