So that even after death the somebody is living /feeding on the dead body it can be of some use to some animals.

You should ask them , we bury our dead in the earth with respect and no pollution

To preclude the pollution of earth or fire , the bodies of the dead are placed atop a towera tower of silenceand so exposed to the sun and to scavenging birds.
