If your fingers were all the same size, it would be VERY difficult to maneuver them for daily tasks. They are made that way for a reason just like why car steering wheels are designed round instead of a square. Imagine turning a square steering wheel on the road.

Because each finger has a different function and when all of them come together only certain works can be executed, and it may not be executed satisfactorily if all the fingers were alike

If all fingers are identical while handling any task they cann't mingle in the middle equally and all fingers have their own identity.
