That is not the tradition in the BJP. However, according to me, the following leaders are in the race for the coveted post: L.K. Advani, Narendra Modi, Arun Jaitley and Sushma Swaraj.
According to me, the soft spoken and learned Arun Jaitley could be the consensus leader, acceptable to all in the BJP.

You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself in any direction you choose. You're on your own. And you know what you know. You are the guy who'll decide where to go. But BJP is other way round now
