Why many couples who have no children are so much reluctant to adopt a child of some poor parents and consider that child as their own?

I WILL GIVE YOU ONE BASIC INSTANCE....OF ME.....
I wanted to adopt a girl child who had been left orphaned due to a car accident...
the procedures are so lengthy...there is so much of red tape...
the kind of questions raised as to how a single male could raise a child...
the lat bit may not be apllicable to married couples of course.....
but the whole rigmarole left such a bad taste in my mouth...
that ultimately gave up the idea....mind you this was my case...
and I am in a privileged position having access to top bureaucrats....
I think this is the main cause...the second one would be...
there is always a mental psychology regarding blood decendants... ...more
