1. There are some organisational changes within L&T which could be one of the reasons for the fall.
2. Another reason could also be that being the Quarter-2 end of this financial year, a target amount of transactions need to be completed, hence the fall
3. In 2007, at a point in time L&T prices were 2492. It has also gone as low as 954 within last 4 years - This is the time to accumulate some shares from L&T & if you are a long term investor, you are sure to gain from this. If someone accumulates from 1330 & lower, the average price of sell after 2-3 months would be beneficial.

L&T shares were purchased at the prices higher than this . Since everyone wanted to sell , the prices came down .

Well this is just because people can get the oppurtunity to invest more for the future.L& T is the Money tree in Future.hence it wants every one to grow with it.
Remember u will find recession everywhere but L & T is still giving Jobs.
hence its upto u what to decide

It's actually costly to invest at this over priced level...speculations - to see a downfall till 1500. hence the fall...
however in long run....it will be well above 1700 in next quarter -provided other things remain the same
