I think it was done at least is the thing to feel happy about as it was long delayed one & the Indian government would never telecast it due to fear of increase in rift with Pakistan!!

American Administration executed Sadam Husain which was resented by the most of the Muslim Society...but they were undone vis-a-vis UNCLE SAAM....but India faces more problem from the muslim ppl within the country itself than the Muslim communities elsewhere....had Kasab been openly hanged then there had been outrage of violence triggered by Kasab supporters .... itz a fact that most muslims within never consider India being their homeland....they accord high priority to their community over & above the interest of country....thatz why terrorist outfits hailing from across the border could dare to stage a terrorist activity only bcz of the infrastructure provided by their Indian counterparts here within India....
Therefore the secret execution of KASAB was a right decision.....

Saddam Hussain ka live telecast hua tha aur Ajmal Kasab ka nai. Sir, jab kisi chhetra ki koi sabse badi power kisi karya ko doosre tareeke se anjam de, to uske jada critics nahi honge, aalochna sirf wo karenge jo unke khilaf hain, unke sathi nahi. Jab insaan ka dabdaba hota hai to wo jo kare sahi hai. Ek bada minister hazaron karod ka corruption kar k bach nikalta hai per ek babu kuch lakh k liye breaking news ban jata hai, kyuki wo kamjor hai. Hamare yaha Kasab ko sadharan per suljhe hue tareeke se fasi mili. America Pakistan ki jankari k bina uske desh me ghuskar Osama ko mar sakta hai, per Bharat aisa kare apne most wanted ko marne k liye to Kargil se badi ladai chhid jayegi. So, hum utne powerful to hain ki aatank ka jawab de sake har roop me, per itne aggressive bhi nahi. That is why America is super power and we are future power.

America can afford to face whatever situation arise, but not we. Surely it will be a foolish idea to make any hanging in public. It is not done in any country. Further, there can be a revengeful attack from the Talibanis. Govt has done a right thing. They will prefer to deploy its forces to counter the borders rather than run after an angered suicide bomber. Any sane Government will not take any such risk which will instigate the villains.

Yes, I do. Rather than blindly comparing entirely differet situations of Saddam and Kasab, we should realise that Government of India is a soverign entity and does not have to follow examples set up by other countries.
The Central and State governments have full rights and authority to analyse the sitution and take decisions accordingly. Their aim was not for creating newsbites and publicity (like US) but only to ensure that law takes its course

People are still happy about this execution.
And coming to the live telecast of his execution, i dont think that would be any reason to bring solace to people sufficing for the loss of near ones in the past. Its enough we know that Kasab has got what he deserved keeping all the law n order in place even though it took so long for it ...!

It is better to keep such executions a secrecy as this could send shock waves to people who see. even saddam husseins hanging was not made public. only report was shown on tv as about to be hanged or hanged. what we got on you tube was a video shot by a fellow officer incharge of hanging. if kasab hanging is also recorded , by someone maybe it could get leaked online in future
