"Amar Singh arrested in cash-for-vote scam"

The Tees Hazari court in New Delhi has rejected Amar Singh's interim bail plea and sent him to judicial custody for 14 days. The Rajya Sabha member is likely to spend the night in prison. Had the case not been monitored by the Apex Court ,the Congress Bureau of Investigation would have come to his rescue. But as there is no chance of any help from that side, there is every possibility of him vomiting the truth which may put the Govt. n Congress party in an uncomfortable position.Besides, this may force the Govt. to go slow against the Bellary baron Janardhan Reddy n the BJP.
