Q.

Delhi CM Sheila Dixit has ordered that all pending construction/repair work for the Commonwealth Games should be completed by 1st week of August.Looking at the pace of work and it's pendency in Delhi I feel it may take at least another year. What can we expect from CWG? Will it be a serious blot on our face as the foreign delegates may have to move on bumpy and pot holed roads and much of the arrangements may leave them in great inconvinience? or will India issue a statement as usual at the end of games that everything was very well and the foreign delegates were very happy?

Sheila Dixit , in my mind, will always be famous for one comment of hers. "Migrants from India are the major problem in Delhi." . If a CM can make a statement like that, then IMHO, the country has no hope of a good future.

Politicians are Politicians only. They only preach and not practice what they preach. Sheila Dixit is also doing the same thing. hence, there is nothing to worry about it. It is a great pity indeed people at the higest office is behaving in such a manner. Moreover, Common Wealth game or othewise, there is always great inconvinience in and around India as a whole. Now CWG started coming up, if foreign delegates were not provided proper arrangements , we will be a laughing stock around the world. Moreover, dear Heamnt you are speaking for Delhi but what about rest of India mainly in Mumbai, during rainly season it is very difficult to venture in road. Yes, i agree with you in this context, but what is to be done. these are empty words only and no concrete action is going to happen and that is India for you and me. We have to bear everything , thats all. nothing else.

Mr mehta, i have a very simple question, do you think that her order is a MAGIC WAND that all work will finishi in time only because she wishes this to happen. as far as i know she is not a magician.,
thank God the Asian Games went very well, but this time i seriously doubt that every thing will go fine
