Why gulli danda, kanchay, Patangbaazi, kabootarbaazi, langdi kabaddi, Aaees-Paaees etc Indian games are now almost obsolete ?

That is because these games are not standardised. If you go minutely into the game, rules differ from one state to another state. Games must have uniform rules to be recognised as a national game and then slowly enter the international arena. Like Kabaddi has entered the international arena.
