From Ignorance comes wrong identification with MIND and EGO.
Ego is an artificial thing created and sustained by mind with great effort. Ego insulates u from the WHOLE and u feel small helpless and vulnerable. Ur image before people, status, knowledge, health, financial status can fluctuate and fall any time. The delusion of ego creates the fear!

As they say, Ignorance is bliss.
Ask the common labourer and you will find that
he is unaware of the going on in the world around him.
He is more concerned with his daily wages.
