Good morning parulji. This year in deewali a new member ie, my daughter in law joined us. my second son married her on 17.6.2009. To accomodate them we needed a big house and taken an indpendent house having two bathrooms and 2 bedroms. Both my son and dil are workiing as faculties in the local engineering college. The remaining member is my wife who runs all the show. we have purchased some kerrokota earthern lamps and decorated the building modestly. I have purchased 4 sparkingling ( exact name I did remember), at the cost of 40 each. I arranged a competition amongst four that who can light his sparkle earlier wins the bet. The bet of rs.10, is there to make the competition interesting. it aroused a great laughter and merry making. I purchaed no crackers. but distributed some crakers to the street children as I know they enjoy the crackers. This is like an essay on how diwali went this year, As you asked the question, and I anwered it please give marks to this reply maximum being 10.

It was just ok. My father in law expired a month ago. Moreover my son was to perform the duties as My father in law have all daughters. hence it is somewhat customs that the son of any daughter and if thread ceremony have been done, he has to perform, hence we could not celebrate the Diwali greatly and more over my wife father expired and how can my wife can celebrate so we celebrate in small way keeping in mind of my sons age. He has to enjoy so we celebrated, thats all. next year we will see.

Horrible. I had to go on the street at 1 am to request my neighbour to stop bursting the crackers. I had a stuffy nose because of the smoke and couldn't sleep for one whole night and had disturbed sleep the next whole week. So I couldn't go to the gym and I gained weight.
