Why dont people say directly that they miss that person , if they really do missing him/her??

Ab kise miss kar rahi ho??? I believe its human tendency, they think if they express themselves, it might make them vulnerable and the other person will always have a upper hand in all dealings then onwards, or even that if the other person interprets it the wrong way it may embarrass or upset them. People are afraid of taking chances... ;-)
