It is in the religion. why some religions have only one god ??
why in some religions there are relations with everyone except mother ...?? why some religions refuse to say Vande Mataram .. ???

Its not that there are so many gods, the fact is that whenever, the Lord comes to the earth as a avthar he brings his set of people who are sacred. these sacred souls are also called devtas ( or dev atmas)
