Women do not stand or sit left to the men
Rather men are made to stand or sit right to the women so that in any abnormal occasion/case women can warn or hint their men with their right hand.....

It's other way ........ man generally stands right of his woman holding her right hand with his left ,keeping his right hand free ..... it is just for self defense because she can't use her right hand for assault to him in public , specially while taking photographs )))
