Regional language news papers are constrained for news to be published in their papers. They have to depend on English language new agencies like UNI, PTI etc. Apart from this, Regional language papers have a regional agenda up their sleeve. Basic difference is that the regional newspapers have maximum local content . Their interest in foreign stories is very limited .
Again regional language newspapers , in general , give good amount of importance to the region's culture , with a view to promote their own culture , while English language papers do not have much interest in promoting culture.
The regional language newspapers have limited class of readers , so the editors want to pamper that clientel , which english newspapers just go on volumes and advertisements.
English newspapers have business uppermost in their mind , while regional language newspapers have limited business orientation.
